Act of Kindness Thank You - Bonita Springs Assistance Office
Thank you to all our generous ladies for the donations of cleaning supplies, pet food and money to help with utility bills coming due. Several hundred pounds of supplies and over $500 donated today. Bonita Springs Assistance Office was thrilled and so appreciative.

Living here has become a true Paradise........
As a recent transplant from the northeast, the BSNC rescued me from a potentially lonely existence here. A chance meeting in a restaurant introduced me to the BSNC.
Through a myriad of activities ; some of which include our significant others ( golf, tennis, dining, etc.) we have made wonderful new friends. Now, living here has become a true Paradise for both myself and my husband.

We were planning on moving back ...........
Joining Newcomers was the best thing I have done since moving to SW Florida. My husband and I moved here from Ohio in December of 2004. After the newness of moving, finding a job, setting up a business, buying a home and finally settling in was over, we were lonely. In 2007 we put our home on the market. We were planning to move back to Ohio to be with friends and family.
A few months later, I met this wonderful woman, a BSNC member, who invited us to her home for Cocktails and Conversation. We met the friendliest people! I joined Newcomers within the next few months and the rest is history.
I have learned to play Mah Jonng. My husband and I are in a group that plays Canasta. Together we enjoy Dining In, Dining Out and Cocktails and Conversation. We love every minute of it and our new friends. We went on a cruise with a few members and had a blast! To think we would have missed out of meeting these wonderful ladies (husbands too) would have been a huge mistake. It seems everyone joined for the same purpose, meeting new friends who will no doubt last a lifetime, Thanks Newcomer Member's you are the best!
